On March 29–30, 2025, IATEFL ReSIG and MenTRnet hosted the Teachers Research! Online 2025 conference, now in its 11th edition (the 4th one online). This global event brought together both experienced and pre-service teachers from a wide range of contexts globally to share and celebrate their experiences of classroom-based research. It also offered valuable opportunities to learn, connect, and contribute to a growing global community of teacher-researchers. The overall aim of the conference was to support and provide further impetus to the growing international movement of teachers as researchers and knowledge creators for themselves, their students and their schools.
The conference highlighted practitioners’ initiatives in exploring their own teaching practices, providing a platform for teachers and teacher-research mentors to exchange insights, strategies, and practical ideas about classroom-based research. Participants engaged in poster talks, interactive discussions, and plenary roundtable sessions, and the conference format enabled a dynamic exchange of ideas.
